To find your photos quickly you have several options:
- You can search for your video or photo using the filters in myCloud.
- You can also use the timeline directly for the search.
- The third option is to find your photos using the "Places" function (only for Standard and Pro customers).
The filters in the "Photos" section are a very effective tool for quickly finding specific groups of photos and videos. If you want to read more about filtering your photos and videos, you can find more information here.
Using the timeline in the photo area on the mobile app and in the browser, you can search for your photos and videos by the date they were taken.
In the browser, the timeline is used as follows: Move the mouse pointer over the timeline on the right side of the screen until the month you are looking for is displayed. Now click on the timeline to display the photos and videos of the corresponding month. Now you can scroll through the month until you find your photo/video.
In the app on your smartphone the use of the timeline is a little different. In the myCloud App, open the "Photos" section. If you now scroll through the pictures, a circle with two arrows will appear at the right edge. You can drag it up and down. Next to the circle you will see the corresponding month/year in which you are currently located. Now navigate to the desired month to search for the desired photo/video.
The third way to search for a photo is with the function "Places" (only available for myCloud Standard and Pro customers). This function allows you to use a map to search for the locations where your photos/videos were taken and display them. Here you can read about what the "Places" function has to offer.
