If you’d like to restore your backup on a new or reconfigured computer, you’ll have to redownload the myCloud desktop client. Then log into your myCloud account and follow these steps:
- Click on the backup you’d like to restore.
- Click on “Next”.
- You’ll then see a notification informing you that the connection to your old computer will be terminated. In order to restore the backup on your new device, click on “Continue”.
- Your backup will then be disconnected from your previous device.
- You can now restore your backup and add additional folders.
