myCloud Desktop connects your computer directly to myCloud’s online storage. Following installation, a special myCloud folder is created on your computer. Everything you store there is automatically copied to the servers of myCloud.ch. This enables you to manage your files easily via Windows Explorer or Mac Finder without worrying about making backup copies.
If you edit a file within your myCloud folder, myCloud Desktop automatically ensures that your changes will be transferred to myCloud.ch as well. If you have installed myCloud Desktop on other computers, the edited file will be synchronised on these devices as well. This means you always have a current copy of your documents from the myCloud.ch file view on all of your computers.
Please note: image and video documents located in the Photos area of myCloud.ch are not synchronised with your computer.
Edit files offline
As myCloud Desktop always stores a copy of your file view on your computers, you can work on your files while you’re on the move as well. As soon as you’re connected to the internet, myCloud Desktop detects your changes and first transfers them to the myCloud.ch online storage and then from there to all of your other devices.
At home on the move
You can also install myCloud on your Android or iOS device and access the latest versions of your files from anywhere.
